Trusted Fruits and Vegetables Exporters from India to the Gulf Region
Our Mission
Mad Era is a UAE-based General Trading FZCO company that exports fresh fruits and vegetables from India to importers, distributors, supermarkets, hotels, and food businesses across UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Qatar. We are an exporter only, not a manufacturer. We source from APEDA-approved farms and packhouses in India and manage the complete export chain from grading and cold chain to freight, documentation, and GCC port delivery.
Why Indian Fruits and Vegetables Are in High Demand Across the Gulf
Geographic Proximity That Matters for Perishables
India is closer to the Gulf than any other major fruit and vegetable producing country. A sea shipment from Mumbai reaches Jebel Ali in 5 to 7 days, Muscat in 4 to 6 days, Jeddah in 10 to 12 days, and Doha in 7 to 9 days. For perishable produce, this proximity is a genuine commercial advantage that reduces transit risk and logistics cost for buyers across UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Qatar.
Year-Round Supply Across Multiple Crop Seasons
India grows produce across a wide range of agro-climatic zones and multiple crop cycles. When one state’s season ends, another begins. Gulf importers can source mangoes, pomegranates, grapes, onions, tomatoes, and leafy vegetables from Indian suppliers across the full calendar year without changing their sourcing country.
Consistent Demand from Indian Diaspora Across the Gulf
Millions of Indians live across UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Qatar, creating year-round retail demand for Indian fruit and vegetable varieties that no other import origin can substitute. Alphonso mangoes in summer, Bhagwa pomegranates in winter, fenugreek, coriander, bitter gourd, and drumstick are regular household purchases for this large and commercially significant community.
Competitive Pricing That Supports GCC Retail Margins
Indian fresh produce is priced significantly below equivalent product from European or Australian origins. For supermarket chains, wholesale distributors, and food service operators in UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Qatar who manage tight margins, the price advantage of Indian fruits and vegetables supports competitive pricing across the Gulf without compromising on product quality.
Government-Backed Export Standards Through APEDA
All produce exported from India through Mad Era passes through APEDA-regulated packhouses, phytosanitary inspection, and FSSAI food safety compliance. Customs authorities in UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Qatar accept Indian produce shipments with the required documentation, making the import process predictable and free of compliance risk for Gulf buyers.
Commercial Scale for Consistent Container-Load Supply
India produces fruits and vegetables at a scale that allows Gulf importers to place regular, large-volume orders and receive consistent product quality across every shipment. Multiple growing regions and organized packhouse infrastructure mean one Indian export relationship can serve a GCC buyer’s full annual fresh produce requirement.
Our Fruits and Vegetables Export Process from India to GCC Ports
Step 1 – Direct Farm Sourcing from APEDA-Approved Farms: We source from APEDA-approved farms and certified growers across Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Punjab, all following Good Agricultural Practices.
Step 2 – Harvesting at Export Maturity: Produce is harvested at the correct maturity stage for export transit, ensuring it arrives in UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, or Qatar with adequate shelf life and peak quality.
Step 3 – Grading and Quality Inspection at Packhouse: Every batch is graded by size, colour, weight, and surface condition at APEDA-approved packhouses. Only produce meeting export parameters moves forward.
Step 4 – Pre-Cooling and Packhouse Processing: Graded produce is pre-cooled, treated where required (Hot Water Treatment for mangoes as per GCC protocol), and packed in temperature-controlled packhouses to preserve freshness before loading.
Step 5 – Export Packaging in Buyer-Specified Formats: Mad Era offers ventilated cartons, mesh bags, clamshells, and custom private-label packaging. All materials are export-grade and suited to sea or air freight transit to GCC destinations.
Step 6 – Full Documentation Prepared In-House: Each shipment is dispatched with a Phytosanitary Certificate, APEDA Certificate, Certificate of Origin, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading or Airway Bill, and HS Code Declaration, all prepared by Mad Era.
Step 7 – Sea or Air Freight to GCC Ports: Sea freight from Nhava Sheva or Mundra reaches Jebel Ali in 5 to 7 days, Muscat in 4 to 6 days, Jeddah in 10 to 12 days, and Doha in 7 to 9 days. Air freight from Mumbai or Delhi reaches Dubai within 10 to 24 hours for perishable or premium shipments.
